Products are good quality and wankel's were supportive to poor.
I've gone a few times because it's a local store and I'd like to support that...but not anymore. Everything's twice the price it should be and it's not a good selection. I went there for a mattress bag and it cost $13 and doesn't even seal. I will not go back.
WANKEL'S gave me job, strict rules, but still sufficient to support my family and learnt American culture until i got drivers license and left job for good.
Slightly overpriced but best neighborhood selection of paint and garden. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Hi, i'm a former employee of Wankels Hardware store and i would like to say that Wankels product's are very unsanitary. They have a very big rodent problem and a lot of the rodents like to eat or leave their feces on the store products. They made me brush the feces of the products and put it back on the store floor for the customers to buy. This usually happened with the plant food and soil. If u look closely at the soil bags, their are little marks on them, which is usually the rat's bite. also, their was a lot of gloves that had rat pellets in them that they made me brush off and put back on stock. If you come in around & pm or around the time they close up, they would put rat traps on the floor below the seeds. YES, THE RATS WOULD COME UP TO THE FLOOR TO EAT THE SEEDS. I apologize for not saying this earlier, but i had no option besides listening to them, since they would've marked me up if I didn't listen.

Great store, great help. This is the equivalent of that hardware store in the little midwestern town I grew up in: they have everything! Helpful staff, and great selection.
