I always had a great experience with the people working here, they also speak Spanish, great advantage for me as sometimes to explain technical issues it is not easy.
I am a Handy Man at a very hi end Restaurant near by this Hardware store and I come here all the time for different projects that need to be done. they are very helpful and have a lot more then meets the eye.
Went in for a bath plug, came out with an AC unit! They charge a little more than the big box stores but installation is free! Great service, friendly and helpful. A neighborhood gem!
Purchased a small Coop unit down the street and found this hardware store had everything I needed for the renovations I could do myself. Although I see other comments stating the staff was rude, I found everyone that waited on me was very nice and extremely helpful. The only rude person I saw was a customer who did seem to think they had to wait in line. The owner, Debbie, was particularly nice. I would recommend this store to anyone who needs basic tools and supplies. Can't beat the location if you are in the Columbus Circle area.
Just moved to NYC, HD is pretty far away - needed to find a local hardware store for everything one needs when first moving into an apartment. Found these guys - they let me buy some plywood for some shelves that had been pre-cut for another customer that didn't pick it up, and also helped facilitate getting it cut to the proper size. They even let me have some additional scrap wood that I needed at no cost, and helped me get the right nails and bolts I needed for another project. Maybe I got lucky, but I'll keep using these guys until they prove me wrong..
