prices are fairly normal. considering it's a local shop--things tend to err on the higher side.
very friendly and helpful crew. i needed a tool to adjust my drill and when none fit they changed an existing tool until it did, and only charged me $5.

I need hardware all the time for small projects, and these guys are great. Their prices are better than big box or chain stores, and they usually have everything I might need. They're also really nice and helpful, and patient if you don't know exactly what you're talking about.

this small store is packed to the gills from floor to ceiling with home repair merchandise from shovels and tools to foam insulation and paint thinner. this hardware store services the neighborhood, but it's mostly patronized by handymen, supers, and local contractors. the hours are normal--meaning this place is never open late. so for evening and early morning emergencies, you're screwed. PUN! however your 9-5 needs can be handled well by this store.

EXCELLENT Neighborhood Hardware Store, knowledgeable family owned and operated business, their prices are low and the service you'll receive will be excellent. They stock just about everything you'll need for your apartment or property AND they will give you a lesson in how to install it!! If not for Carlos and his educated staff, I would have lost my job as a building superintendent a long time ago!!! Don't waste carfare going to a hardware supermarket with little individualized service when there is a neighborhood store that walks the walk of good prices and thorough personalized service. Keep up the great work CHP; I will always be a loyal customer!!
