Great food - sizzling and crispy fried chicken, delicious steaming okonomiyaki, and juicy and moist tofu. You'll want to come early to get a spot, and bring many people so you can order a bit of everything. I recommend the veggie skewers!
One of my favorite dive places in midtown. They are quick and agile about their Asian food. The menu is huge and could take awhile to absorb. So pick a type of food and go from there. See my 360 pics.
Amazing place located in a very content niche in the heart of Times Square. We visited this place after reading the reviews on Google and it has lived up to every bit of its praise. Great food - loved the Japanese Cuisine, polite and great service and absolutely pocket friendly with pretty good quantity portions for all the items we ordered. To top it, the ambience is pretty cool with a great wibe and perfect if you want to enjoy with your friends without burning a hole in your pocket. I absolutely recommend this place !!
What a cool discovery this is. It's in the basement of another restaurant but rest assured it's well managed. The place is really tight and you will be privy to most of your neighbours table conversations so not a great place if you're looking to take a date. A group of friends on the other hand can have a ball here. The sukiyaki, is very reasonably priced and suprisingly good. Most Ramen is quite delicious too, except you might want to be careful on the type of noodles you want. And yes, must order Frog legs. There are very few places in New York city that can offer Frog legs this tasty. The portion size is average to small but the prices are very reasonable for a Midtown times square location. Generally has a waiting time of atleast 30 minutes and a very small wait area so try and book in advance or pick a chore you can do instead of waiting there.
Great food and decent price. The wait can be pretty long so get there early and put your name down. I'm a big fan of the omelette over pork pan fried noodles, something unique that you can't really find at most Japanese restaurants. Although they have all types of food, their specialty rolls are quite good!
