It's a cool oasis in a very dense downtown. There's a fountain, lots of benches and shade trees. At least 4 entrances. Things are arrayed at angles that allow variety. Vendors all around to enjoy a cool refreshment. Close to many subway lines and buses, which makes it perfect to unwind before heading home.

Crowded and busy city... very small green parks but dirty and smelly at the same time...how ever this might be the cleanest place around here. Try not to visit at all at Christmas timee or some other festivals....
This place is so fun. It is quiet, calm, nice structure and gardens all around. It is cool in temperature with the trees in the spring and summer. There are tables with chess built into them. What a great civic area. Small but nice.
If you like history it's worth the visit. Really nice indoors. The rotunda is worthy of praise. Architecture of 1800s.
