It is very interesting to visit a submarine to get an idea about the life-work conditions of the military sailor. The best word - extreme!! Four levels of beds in a cabin of four square meters. Not surprisingly that relatively spacious torpedo compartment was considered to be the most desired place for sleep and relaxation. Right next to the torpedo. Must see.

I guess my favorite part was walking through the submarine, which had been kept in "operational" condition as much as possible - it really offered a glimpse into the life of the sailors who had been on her.

Fantastic. We got 5 dollars off each as a small part was being used for NYC Fashion Week and thus was closed to the public, which was much appreciated. The staff member who got us sorted with tickets was very pleasant and helpful, which was great and sadly lacking nowadays. Very informative museum, great displays of various aircraft, as well as getting to walk around the ship and see the Concorde. Absolutely great. We spent two hours there! Photography is allowed as well, which is just fantastic! Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful place to visit with family and friends. During the summer months, my family and I take advantage of family movie night that actually takes place on the deck of the intrepid. We bring our blankets, snacks and fur babies and enjoy selected movies while sitting under the evening stars. The surrounding area is also fantastic. The new Greenway is perfect for jogging, bicycling or a nice walk. This in addition to the circle line and the dog run. I could just go on and on. This is definitely a wonderful place to visit. If I could give more stars , I would.

It was just alright. The drone exhibit was decent, but the Concorde was closed. The Intrepid seemed to be mostly set up for education groups, and the hangar deck was highly modified - almost like it wasn't a ship at all. The planes in the top deck were nice.

This museum is fantastic! It's very cool to be on an aircraft carrier the whole time, and to be able to go inside parts of it. The submarine tour is a must if you are physically able and aren't claustrophobic. According to a woman I went with, you used to be allowed to touch the planes, but that is no longer allowed, which was disappointing. However, there is an Exploreum where you can touch some replicas, which is very fun. As far as the price, I would only recommend going if you are an NYC resident or have some sort of other discount, because $33 is a bit much.
