This is the worst experience I have ever had with a vendor. I placed an order online last Saturday for 2 items. They contacted me that unfortunately 1 of the items was sold within "minutes" of my placing the order. Shady, but ok, it happens. They did not write in the initial email how they were planning on refunding me for the amount I paid of the item that had "already sold" so I emailed them back telling them I hoped I would get a refund.
This company is shady as best and has the most appalling customer service at worst. To say I did not feel valued as a customer is an understatement.
I ended up placing the order for the 2nd item a second time, since it was still available on the link they emailed me and I thought maybe they did end up holding it for me. I also did this having faith that the initial payment would finally clear even though it had not yet done so. At which point, after I paid for the item a second time, they said sorry "we gave the item to another customer because you did not re-purchase" in time. Then why was it available to purchase on your website if it was sold to someone else?????? This was the same issue all over again.
Elyana was very professional and helpful. I had my wedding band custom made here. Instead of an eternity band, they had my band made with diamonds 3/4 of the way around. Perfect for resizing purposes and helped with the budget. I was a bit nervous to have them create a custom piece considering I couldn't see the final product before paying however everything turned out exactly as I envisioned it. My band came in on time and looks stunning! I highly recommend working with Greenwich St. Jewelers.
The next day they communicated with me that they cannot issue a refund, and must cancel the entire order for both items. They told me to place the order for the 1 item that was still available again. I thought fine and patiently waited for the amount I paid for both items to clear, which I thought would only take 1 or 2 days max since it was "cancelled" on their end. It is 5 days after I placed the initial order and the funds are still subtracted from my account and the order is not cleared. I cannot access these funds. I have been communicating with them daily about this matter.

Naturally they should have been apologetic about this matter and at least held on to the 1 item I had initially bought until the initial purchase cleared so I can re-order it. That would only be right. Instead they said they can only hold the 1 item for 24-48hrs and started threatening that if I don't pay a second time for the item by an arbitrary deadline set by the store - while my initial payment was still "processing" and drawn from my account - that they would give the item to another customer. I had daily communications with them that more frustrating than the previous.
Waiting for the orders to clear. I have utterly wasted my time on this company. Never again.
Right now I've paid for 1 item once and a second item twice. Not only are these payments "still processing" and drawn from my account, but both pieces I ordered have been sold to someone else. How messed up is this????
