Love this market! The assortment of international foods is incredibly vast. For instance, It's one of the few places in Manhattan that carries fresh Reggiano Parmesan cheese. I love their organic section too. The organic fruits and vegetables are typically fresh and priced well relatively speaking. Fairway UPW also has a great vitamin and supplement section. The employees are also courteous. Overall for me, shopping here is a positive experience. It's great too they are open until 1AM every day!

Sidewalk fridge makes it easy for quick refreshment grabs and fruits are close to front as well.
Staff can be helpful but always busy filling the shelves.
On the UWS, where you buy your groceries says as much about you as your church, gym or private grade school. Fairway has a cult like following for good reason. Great produce and flowers line the outside. Inside this sprawling store offers just about everything including a deli, bakery and butcher. It is easy to miss that there is a second floor dedicated to organic produce, health food, baby food, vitamins and cafe which does a very respectable brunch.
Good vegetables and fruit and all the cereal you usually see.
Great selection of everything. But it's like a maze so if you've never been, be prepared to feel like you can't find anything!
Always has what you expect but if a big sale is on come early in the day.
The original Fairway in NYC. It was a great place for fresh groceries. They have large selection of olive oils. There is a butcher and fish monger. They will cook your lobsters for you. A bakery section with the possibility of a personalized cake. Of course there is the famous deli! The second floor houses a cafe along with naturals, supplements, organic foods and products.
