Crowded might be the first word that comes to mind. But note that there are different areas to the Food Hall. Strong suggestion to make a reservation where you can sit, be waited upon, and relax with room to spare. We were fortunate enough to be in NYC on a fabulous weekend and decided to explore Central Park that day. Rather than having to seek a lunch spot, we decided to book a table at Todd English Food Hall in the Plaza. Once we got through the crowd entering, we were taken away from the crowd to a table for two that was in a great room of tables that were spaced to allow for comfort and privacy. Service was prompt and friendly, without being rushed. The menu is full of significant options for just about every taste, including burgers, Italian, Asian, and much more. My wife opted for an appetizer as a meal and I chose the Todd Hall Burger, after having been overseas for 17 days! Both meals were excellent as was the beer recommended by our server. Service throughout the meal continued to be attentive but relaxed. As you might expect, the bill arrived and my first reaction was "Expensive!", but when you stop to consider you are in The Plaza Hotel in the midst of NYC mixed with the quality of food and service, I can live with the result. Recommend as a lunch spot. Not sure I would choose for dinner as you could get much more atmosphere elsewhere for the price you would pay.
Very cool food court in the basement of the Plaza Hotel. The variety of choices are abundant, from crepes, chicken, coffee cakes and everything inbetween! Tends to get busy on weekends for prepare for a wait to be seated in the public area, while the restaurants do contain their own seating section. Bathrooms available too.
There is no much diversity in food as it should.

Many different spots for eating. Sweet, savory, asian, coffee... Everyone will find something. Not enough space to sit and unconfortanle.
I didn’t like how small it is, I thought it would be bigger like Harrods’s hall food.
