Best theater ever with 25 screens. They have all varieties of movies on different size screens. I love the butter on pop corn and also ice cold drinks. Little bit pricey but you can manage with online coupons. I don't even remember how many movies I have seen at Empire 25. I am sure more than 20 times. Good place with families or friends. I personally prefer dolby screen for animated movies. I hope you guys find this helpful and enjoy the movie!
Dolby @ AMC is simply the best way to view a movie, period. This theater (#8) is the best in the city, hands down. Yes, it's a little dirty and the fellow viewers can be noisy at times, but in terms of cinematic quality and experience, it cannot be beat. The Loews at Columbus Circle is a close second. Note I cannot comment on any other theater in AMC 25... I strictly go here for Dolby @ AMC (formerly AMC Prime).
I go during the week and it is almost empty. I just avoid the weekends and always have a pleasant movie experience.
It does not have bed bugs. I have been going there almost every week for over 10 years. I never brought home any "souvenir".
Very large, comfy and modern theater. Love the 4D. I never go anywhere else for movies except for their across the street neigbor Regal which is very much alike.
Whether IMAX or standard, you can be sure to find sticky floors and food littered seats in great number. Some of the staff is nice and friendly, others not so much. If they would just clean properly it would be one of my favorite spots. Will look elsewhere for the right cinematic experience. Check reviews on yelp for the truth
My experience went very well. I went on a Tuesday because they have $5 Tuesday deals where the movies are only $5. The food was type pricey. I ordered curly fries with chicken tenders (they give 5) the food was a decent amount. It was good although they could've cooked it for a little longer. The staff was amazing except for the lady in the 2nd floor that you give the ticket before going up the stairs to your theater where your movie is showing. She was very rude. The movie experience itself went great. They do make you pick a seat when buying your ticket. I recommend this place.
