We ended up going to Mount Sinai where the doctors there actually gave us their full attention despite it being busy.

Worse of the worse nurses at the maternity specialy nurse Gabriella! They will not allow the grandmother see her first grandchild. It’s unacceptable
I went in for a simple procedure and was discharged hours later. I can not say enough great things about this staff and professional care. From setting up the surgery to the day of surgery I was amazed at their efficiency and care. The professional staff of nurses, anesthesiologists, PA, and doctors went above and beyond. Everyone introduced themselves, patients were calm and the whole atmosphere was very relaxing. I highly recommend NYP in lower Manhattan. Even though the building is old and you can tell things need updating the quality of care is exceptional. Thank you to everyone!
We came in at 11pm and didn't leave until 7:30AM
Everyone was professional and competent. Everyone was polite and accommodating.
I came in for lower abdominal pain. The staff here is great. They are fast (came early in the morning) and super patient and kind. Love the atmosphere of the hospital compare to many ER this place is a 5 ⭐️. Trust me compared to Saint BARNABAS this place is a palace.
Nurses, the people at the front desk, janitors not one person stopped to even say hello.
The wait time would have been fine (it's a hospital)

After hours of waiting we finally got a pit stop from Dr.Katz who didn't even take the time to run tests and give a proper diagnosis. We left with a "I don't think it's cat scratch disease but just in case" ..prescribed a set of antibiotics for a completely different infection.
I read some negative reviews about maternity and began to be concerned. Well after spending time here with family I have to say I am very impressed.
I guess most people only write reviews at all if they were not pleased.
We were given a bed in front of the desk and left there without a word.
The problem is that through out that period we were not consulted by anyone including a nurse.
