I then called 911 and as i was on the phone with them the girl got spooked and decided to leave, while still on with 911 i followed her, and was giving the operator the play by play... I followed until she went down the subway. She got away.

A few weeks ago we had a thief in our restaurant that stole a bunch of our employees purses, we filed a police report and opened a case with he detectives. Today, that same thief came in again, looking to steal more stuff and I immediately called the precinct house and asked for the detective that was handling the case and he wasn't available, so i explained the situation to the person who answered the call and asked to have a squad car sent over. He then proceeded to transfer me to someone else who i had to explain everything again and then i was told to hang up and call 911 as i would be able to get a car here faster that way. The precinct house is LITERALLY 146 paces away from our restaurant, I walked it out and counted, literally around the corner.
There is a ( Black ) man walking down ( south ) on Broadway swinging his arms and fist at as if he wants to hit people in the face for no reason at all !!!! This occurred on January 07, 2017 - Saturday; at around 5:30 pm -- 6:00 pm. He was talking to himself. He was walking north bound on the east side of Broadway between Liberty and John Streets. He was muscular ( built ); slim and he seemed homeless. ANOTHER SIMILIAR INCIDENT OCCURRED ON THE south bound R and W train platform on December 09, 2016; approximately 8:00 pm. PLEASE DO SOMETHING !!!!!!

Honestly, I wonder if this precinct is simply asleep at the wheel. I had some sort of protest outside my window with no fewer than 5 air horns being played continuously for over an hour. I called 311 and filed a noise complaint - I have a business and literally could not operate. Then I called the precinct directly. The officer hung up on me. And this is what I pay taxes for. Terrible work. An embarrassment.
It has now been over an hour and the squad car that is around the corner, 146 paces away, still hasn't shown up.
