DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME COMING TO THIS CLUB. Waited on line for 2 hours because the bouncers at the front were being very difficult. Very disorganized. I was told that it wasnt even packed inside. I had a club promoter and a table but they just wouldnt allow us to get inside. Please go someplace else. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble by not coming here
My friend and I went to Haus after we saw online that they had A-Boogie, a rapper, performing in the club that night. We got there around 12 and were still in line at 2 am even though we had already purchased tickets online. At one point, we could not help but to realize the blatant discrimination that was on display. They had 3 entry points, left, right and front. Most people of color got stuck on the left side, and most white or white looking persons were on the right. The crowd on the white side was significantly bigger than the black side, however, they were getting inside the club at a much faster speed than our side. The few ppl in our sides who got in were either white or they knew the promoters. If you were black and really wanted to get in at any price, you had to go in front and be prepared to get a table. We stood in line for 2 hours, we were literally next in line and couldn't get inside. Ppl who came way after us, got in before we do. At one point, there were only black ppl left on our side. And when it was evident that we were not going in anytime soon unless we get a table despite us having tickets already , we spoke to one of the bouncers and told him that we understood the blatant favoritism that was going on, he along with some other bouncers (all of them black to make matters worst) dragged us out of the line and asked us if we wanted to fight them. The few white promoters and bouncers that were there left the scene and let the black ones deal with us. They had black bouncers do the dirty work for them. Of course, we pointed out to them that they were being the ultimate uncle Tom and their coonery was never going to take them places. Ppl around the area told us that this is common practice at this club. I have no idea how they're still in business. I wish i could give them 0 star.
Garbage power-hungry staff. Don’t come here. Much better and more affordable NYC clubs than Haus
BLACK PEOPLE PLS... THIS IS NOT YOUR CLUB STAY AWAY THEY MAKE IT CLAIRE. BLACK PEOPLE MANAGEMENT DON'T YOU THERE
RACIST! They kicked my friend's birthday group out because she had black guests with her. The OWNER of the club told her that she did not like the group of friends she was with! The only thing they could not like was the color of their skin! RIDICULOUS!
I'm from CT and was visiting a friend in NY. I was excited to try out a new place...I will NEVER go back there! The doorman was one of the rudest people I've ever met! He kept harassing me and asking me who I was with and why I was there. He even grabbed my arm to get my attention. We ended up leaving and going to a nicer place. I don't know how that place is still open especially with all the negative comments people are writing but I pray they close soon.
