Small and crowded. A couple of the men are disrespectful to women and the cashiers aren't well trained. But the food and selection is good. The meats are great more often than not and the guy at the delicatessen is fast, welcoming and great to talk to. It's an ok supermarket but could be better.
This is a great supermarket for specific Latin American foods. The meat here is dodgy look carefully before you buy the meat. The fresh breads are good and they have an assortment of Latin American breads to choose from. The watermelons here are amazing.
The manager is brain dead and doesn't speak one word of English. It's embarrassing that a grown man isn't bilingual in the Heights in a management position.. He just stands at the front of store staring into space. He's dead weight while his store is cluttered with boxes, ladders, mops and misc items. The store has decent selection and good prices. Also if you go late they release all cashiers but one. They'll be 20 people in line and the manager is still just standing there lost in space. PS. Go the extra blocks to Bravo on 175th. Great manager, great selections and cleaner brighter store.
Interesting ethnic supermarket that carries some unusual products such as Country Baker. Cashier service spotty and irregular.
