UPDATE 8/25/2017: Calls me again to harness me to take down the review a couples of weeks ago. I call her myself this time to confront her about the issue. Instead her son Raymond picks up and was very understanding of the situation and apologized about what had happened. Which I found very comforting. He didn't understand why his mother did not hand out his business card so we could discuss details in person while he could help us translate. I was told I will not receive anymore calls from them regarding this review.
Use this funeral home for many years to took care of our own and our friend's family at their difficult moment. No matter the ex-owner or this owner Ms Chao were very helpful and reliable. Thanks to all the staff in Wah Lai Funeral home, they were also polite and respectful.
THE ABSOLUTE WORST FUNERAL HOME IN HISTORY !!! This is my 1st time going to the funeral home. The boss lady (just to let you know her English is HORRIBLE) was very RUDE and INSENSITIVE . I come a few days before the funeral because I wanted to know the process/steps on the day of the funeral because it was my 1ST TIME planning for a funeral and she just ROLLED HER EYES AT ME and said everything is being taken care and why are you asking SO MANY QUESTIONS. I call her on the day of the funeral to ask questions and she HANGS UP on me . I was told by family that they had been here for years and hand no problems til now. The service was decent because the whole time I felt like I was being rushed. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I will be taking my money to a better place where things will be done right.
UPDATE 6/24/2017: A day or 2 later the boss lady called my father (could not talk to me to confront the issue) telling me to take down the review because it would RUIN the BUSINESS ! She did not take into consideration that I was mourning or apologize for her behavior. Honesty, this business only cares about MONEY and was really UNPROFESSIONAL.
