The church has been in st. Marks forever. The church is also pretty historic. Great place for photos or even just hang out and eat while sitting on the bench. Overall great landmark for st.marks and the neighborhood.
Great venue for dance!
I used to live corner 11th at 2nd Ave in the sixties, but it never interested me much until I visited it in 2010 as a tourist from Germany. As a Dutchman I found the dedication by a Dutch royal commemorating Peter Stuyvesant particularly moving.
I have been to many dance performances here. Love it
